Mark on forehead?? 11:38 But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
I say this might be related to the mark since it seems Josephus described people having to bow before the statue of Caesar to buy stuff – they were honoring the god –relating to gold – in the sense of purchasing and commerce are related to gold.
11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries – this sounds like those who expected peace --
11:29-39 are likely about the horn that overcomes the three kings
verses 11:40-45 may apply to a later portion of the Roman empire in order to complete the promised destruction, the end.
